Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel an appointment booked through HospiJunction, operated by [YOUR_REGISTERED_COMPANY_NAME].
1. How to Cancel
You can cancel an appointment any time before the appointment date and time:
- Open the HospiJunction app
- Tap Bookings in the bottom navigation
- Select the appointment you wish to cancel
- Tap Cancel Appointment
- Optionally, provide a reason (helps us improve)
- Confirm
The cancellation is immediate. The hospital is notified automatically.
2. Cancellation Fees
The ₹20 Platform Fee is non-refundable if you cancel. See our Refund Policy for details.
3. Recommendation: Reschedule Instead
If you simply want to change the time, use Reschedule in the app — it is free of charge and avoids losing the Platform Fee.
To reschedule:
- Open Bookings → select your booking
- Tap Reschedule
- Choose a new date and time slot
- Confirm
You can reschedule multiple times at no cost.
4. No-Show Policy
If you do not show up for an appointment without cancelling in advance:
- The Platform Fee is forfeited (same as a cancellation)
- The hospital may flag your account
- Repeated no-shows may result in account suspension
We recommend cancelling at least 1 hour before your appointment if you cannot attend.
5. Cancellation by Hospital
A hospital may cancel your appointment in cases of:
- Doctor going on leave
- Emergency in the hospital
- Operational issues
In all such cases, your Platform Fee is refunded in full (see Section 2). You will be notified immediately via push notification and the in-app bell.
