Welcome to HospiJunction. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the HospiJunction mobile application and platform (collectively, the "Service") operated by [YOUR_REGISTERED_COMPANY_NAME] ("HospiJunction," "we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About HospiJunction
HospiJunction is an online doctor appointment booking platform that connects patients in India with verified hospitals and doctors for outpatient (OPD) consultations. We act solely as a technology facilitator — we are not a healthcare provider, do not employ doctors, and do not provide medical advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that:
- You are of legal age to form a binding contract
- Information you provide is accurate and current
- You will use the Service only for lawful, personal purposes
Patients under 18 may receive care via appointments booked by a parent or guardian on their behalf (using the "Book for Family Member" feature).
3. Account Registration
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete information during registration
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- Not share your account with others
We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or violate these Terms.
4. Booking Appointments
4.1 How Bookings Work
When you book an appointment via HospiJunction:
- You pay a non-refundable Platform Fee of ₹20 (inclusive of GST) to HospiJunction at the time of booking
- The consultation fee is paid directly to the hospital in cash or another method accepted by the hospital, at the time of your visit
- HospiJunction does NOT collect, hold, or process consultation fees on behalf of any hospital
4.2 Confirmation
A confirmed appointment is contingent on:
- Successful payment of the Platform Fee
- Availability of the chosen doctor and slot
- The doctor remaining available on the appointment date (e.g., not on emergency leave)
4.3 Rescheduling
You may reschedule an appointment without paying an additional Platform Fee as long as you do so before your appointment time, subject to slot availability.
4.4 Cancellation
If you cancel your appointment:
- The Platform Fee of ₹20 is non-refundable
- No additional charges apply
If the hospital or doctor cancels your appointment (e.g., due to doctor leave, emergency, or hospital closure):
- You are entitled to a full refund of the Platform Fee (₹20)
- The refund is processed automatically within 5–7 business days to your original payment method

5. Patient Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Arrive on time for your appointment
- Inform the hospital directly if you cannot attend
- Pay the consultation fee directly to the hospital
- Not misrepresent your identity or medical history
- Treat hospital staff with respect
6. Hospital and Doctor Listings
HospiJunction onboards hospitals only after a manual verification process. However, we do not warrant:
- The medical qualifications or skill of any individual doctor
- The quality of treatment provided
- The accuracy of doctor profiles, fees, or schedules at the time of your visit (these are managed by the hospital)
If you experience issues with care quality, you should address them directly with the hospital. HospiJunction may assist in dispute resolution where possible but is not liable for medical outcomes.
7. No Medical Advice
The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information on the Service is for booking and informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical questions.
In a medical emergency, call 108 or visit the nearest emergency room immediately.
8. Communications & Notifications
By creating an account, you consent to receive:
- Push notifications about your bookings, queue status, and account activity
- SMS or email alerts where relevant (e.g., booking confirmation)
- Transactional messages required for the Service to function
You may disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.
9. Payments
- Platform Fees are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway
- HospiJunction does NOT store your card or banking details
- All financial transactions are subject to Razorpay's terms
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, logos, and content, is the property of HospiJunction and protected by Indian and international copyright laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
11. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Book appointments with false information or for resale
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the Service
- Submit fake reviews or ratings
- Harass hospital staff, doctors, or other users
- Use the Service to spam, phish, or distribute malware
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HospiJunction shall not be liable for:
- Medical outcomes or quality of treatment received at any hospital
- Hospital errors, delays, no-shows, or cancellations beyond our control
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss arising from misuse of the Service by any party
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the total Platform Fees you have paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HospiJunction, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ends immediately
- Past bookings remain valid until completed
- Outstanding refunds (if any) will still be processed
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by courts in [YOUR_CITY], India.
